The Fish

We target dolphin, wahoo, sailfish, marlin, tuna and swordfish. We troll with natural baits, drift or troll with kites and high speed troll. Our speciality is swordfish, day or night. At night we drift along with four lines in the water. Two lines are away from the boat suspended under floats and two lines are fished straight down. During the day we fish 1 line, 1400ft down on the bottom of the ocean floor with 14lbs of weight.

The Boat

The Offshore Office is a 28 ft Scout center console powered by twin 250 hp Yamaha 4 strokes. It’s home port is Charleston, SC. The vessel is equipped with Raymarine C-Series electronics, radar, satellite weather/radio, SPOT emergency locator, EPIRB and all Coast Guard required safety equipment. US Coast Guard licensed Captain and professional mate with 20 years experience.

The Tackle

We use top of the line gear. The tackle includes Shimano Tiagras in 20lb, 30lb and 50lb class with Black Bart rods, Van Staal spinning reels, Momoi Diamond Line, Black Bart lures and natural baits with circle hooks or j-hooks. We also use ROFFS fishing forecast service and Hilton’s Real-Time Navigator.

(Reuters) – Online video site Hulu has been approached by a potential buyer and is weighing whether to sell itself, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Hulu is best known for offering free online access to popular TV shows from its strategic owners but last July launched a paid subscription service as a way to expand its offerings to include TV shows from other programing partners like Viacom.

The approach presents another decision point for the jointly owned company, which has shown an unclear strategy and last year spent six months planning an initial public offering before dropping the plan.

The development has encouraged the Hulu board to engage with the banking community to help handle the approach from the “serious” buyer and other potential offers, the person said.

Hulu is jointly owned by News Corp, Walt Disney Co, NBC Universal and private equity firm Providence Equity Partners.

The acquisition approach has not been made by any of the current equity holders, the person said. The buyer is expected to be either a strategic buyer or private equity. No decision has been made about whether the board is prepared to sell the company or not.

Though Hulu has been immensely popular with users, its owners have come under increasing pressure from their cable and satellite distribution partners reluctant to pay premium dollars to carry content that is being offered for free on the Web...

It was back to business as usual for all 14 members of the Bradley County Commission present Tuesday evening during its first voting meeting of 2012.

Prior to the holiday break, Commissioner and Education Committee Chairman Jeff Yarber proposed a wheel tax resolution as a solution to funding requests for capital projects by the county school system. He had asked the commission to review the proposed draft before this month's work sessions.The purpose of the resolution is to call a referendum on the question of whether a county-wide motor vehicle tax (of $32) should be levied for Bradley County.
